Brazin Zinfnadel Lodi
Brazin Zinfandel is a big, powerful Lodi Zin. This really deserves the 88 point rating that The Tasting Panel Magazine gave it. The huge, brambly black and red fruits and stocky tannins let the wine show right out of the bottle. The finish is elegant and spicy, and the "meatiness" noted in the tasting notes is a good savory component to the fruit. Slap this against a couple of racks of baby-back ribs slathered in BBQ sauce!

It’s that time of year, hopheads, so get it while you can. Stone has once again unleashed one of its unholy hopped creations onto an unsuspecting beer world. Touted as the brewery’s hoppiest ale ever – 4.5 pounds per barrel – 13 has a relentlessly flowery nose and all the bitterness you might expect from a 9.5 percent ABV hop bomb. Stone only produces so much, so once it leaves the shelves, that’s it.
